Mercy on The Geaux

Something Amazing is happening during this Jubilee Year of Mercy. Fr. Champagne of the Community of Jesus Crucified is not only thinking outside the box, he's moving the box by taking an old used ambulance and transforming it into a mobile confessional. The Spiritual care unit travels to malls, restaurants, and special events. To "Evangelize in the Marketplace," as Fr. Champagne explains. For people who are unable to attend Church services, he goes to them wherever they are.

Where once there were IVs and medical supplies, the shelves are filled with bibles, pamphlets, rosaries, and religious items.

As he heals on wheels, he is truly putting "Mercy on the Beaux (Go)"
